Sealy FFA and Jr FFA Shine at Karnes Co Fair Livestock Judging Contest

The Sealy FFA and Jr FFA teams traveled to the Karnes Co fair for the livestock judging contest and 26 Tigers made the trip. The Jr team had an impressive showing with Heath Hinze taking home top individual honors and the 4th place junior team comprised of Ainsley Oliver, Atalie Petrash, Hunter Hinze, and Chandler Austin. The 8th place Jr team was Heath Hinze, Kash Parker, Jackson Volking, and Cole Whatley. The 10th place Jr team consisted of Easton Oder, Gaitlyn Oder, Emmalyn Gilfoil, and Ellie Petrash.

Jameson Volking, Jaxon, Jake, and Keaton also posted solid scores in the contest. The seniors had a great day of learning and judging, with the 1st high point champion team comprised of Sydney Petrash, Ryleigh Gilfoil, Mackenzie Simmons, and Grayson Oliver.

All in all, it was a great day of learning and competition for the Sealy FFA and Jr FFA teams. The hard work and dedication of the young agricultural enthusiasts paid off with strong showings in the contest. Congratulations to all who participated.
