Knights Fall to Bears in Heartbreaking Overtime Battle

The Faith Academy Knights Varsity boys basketball team took on the Bears of The Connection School on January 12 in a highly competitive matchup. The game was a nail-biter, with both teams playing their hearts out, but ultimately going into overtime. Unfortunately, the Knights fell to the Bears by a slim margin, with a final score of 39-42.

Freshman Christian Pillow shined for the Knights, earning player of the game honors with a total of 12 points and 5 assists. The Knights as a whole put up 39 points, 11 assists, 5 steals, and 15 rebounds, but unfortunately had 13 turnovers.

The Knights will look to bounce back and come out on top in their next game on January 19 against the Tribe. With a determined mindset and a solid game plan, the Knights are sure to give their opponents a run for their money.

Faith Academy Track Team Secures Multiple Medals at Fayetteville Invitational

The Faith Academy Track Team braved harsh weather conditions during the Fayetteville Invitational Track Meet, but that didn’t stop them from giving it their all. The team secured several medals, including 1st place in the Pole Vault event and 2nd place in both the Discus and Shot Put events. Although the times and distances were not as impressive as usual due to a recent Spring break and 10-day break from training, the team is now focused on improving their performance for their next challenge.
